Hi people new hear, just got my first Skoda, 58 plate Fabia 1.9 TDI, the problem is I hate the gear knob, it is so uncomfortable but I love the one on the mk1 so I want to know if I can fit one on my mk2? 

Not directly... MK 2 ones have kind of pre-assembled knob/lever/gaiter combo. They can be stripped down but not worth the bother. Mk ! versions have different shaped gaiters too so not straight swap. 

In what way do you find it uncomfortable? I thought they felt nice, right from the off!

Ahh okay, I am still going to try because I hate it will upload a picture of one like mine. It's the big cut out under the front it's just so uncomfortable :/
