Wheel nut things

Featured Replies

Let this be a lesson to always play with taking your wheels off at home. When we got the 2011 Monte Carlo I checked the spare wheel and jack and everything seemed in order. Not had a puncture in decades. Had a puncture last night at 3 am with all the pot holes around the A34 and could I work out in the dark what was going on with the “big” oversized wheel nuts......no I could not! I assumed I had an adaptor missing as the lock nut one was there, but where the lock nut?  Finally worked out what the plastic pliers were for, popped them off  and got it sorted out after a lot of head scratching. I am used to my nuts being out in the open! :)

That’s funny but a good point, well made.

So now you know what the big black plastic tweezers are for.
