Just got a '99 Fun for the summer and just wondered how many were imported to the UK. I read somewhere ages ago that it was 2500 is that right? Was the 1.9D every officially imported??

I've never seen a 1.9D Fun, was under the impression all the Funs were 1.6 petrols.

350 rhd models were brought into the UK between 1998 and 2000 (S to Y plate)

Been doing a bit of surfing and there is frequent mention of Fun 1.9D especially on Czech sites. Only 350!!! wow!

In Europe there were 1.3 petrol and 1.9 diesel versions as well as the 1.6 as far as I know.

They also did three different plastic trim colours. The mustard yellow that we all know and love, an orange and a ghastly green!

I saw one Fun in Metz when I went out there for a week a few months back. Have a blurred photo somewhere.

@lummox : you are wrong, this hardtop was made by airdesign/cz, U'll find it on their hompage ( http://www.airdesign.cz/ ) but it's not available anymore, price around 38.000kr ( about 2.300€ )
