2016 superb car park ticket holder, windscreen

Featured Replies

Cleaning the inside of my windscreen I broke off the plastic ticket holder, how easy is it to remove the piller trim to replace the holder, many thanks in advance

They just pull off , be careful though as there is an airpag bolted to the pillar (not the trim)

Yep and its tight to come off. It will sound like its breaking where u pull clips off

There are some good trim removal tools around. I got some from Amazon, not too dear either.

Is it worth the bother? mine broke off about a year ago can't say I've missed it

Here is some info on the A-Pillar removal, it might come in handy;

I broke mine off when cleaning the windscreen. Didn't knock it out, I could see it was broken. Upset me, because I find it very useful.

I got a 10mm ball of blu-tack, rolled out a sausage and stuck the clip back into (approximately) where it came out. Works fine. Bit of a low-tech bodge, I admit. Just working to my skill set. :blush:

Here is a Part No. 3C0867159 (That was from an old B6 Passat I used to own), that way you can replace the broken ticket holder.
