Cancel factory order in favour of stock vehicle?

Life's too short. The rules and regs around fuel consumption, emissions, MOT, vehicle excise duty and the effects of Brexit change more often than I change my underwear.

Buy from stock for instant satisfaction, or hunker down for a factory build to your perfect specification.

In all honesty, if it's a PCP and you've no intention of keeping it I'd be looking at non-VAG options, take another look at the Kodiaq next time.

Although if you can get what you want from stock.... Go for it and avoid the wait.

I did, if I hadn't I'd still be waiting!

I'll be keeping ours until it becomes an uneconomic repair, or I win the lottery.

This was why I went for a factory order, to get my exact spec. I also wanted the 1.4 TSI and not the newer 1.5 TSI so ordered in March, which as it happens was also just in time to avoid all the WLTP debacle.
