Recently both driver and passenger window seals are making creaking noises during driving.  Never had any problems with them before, possibly related to the abnormally hot spell of weather here in UK?  If I crack the window open by the tiniest amount it stops.  Mentioned this during a recent service and dealer said there was nothing they could do under warranty, and to put some silicone spray grease on the seals!

Just wondered if anyone else has noticed this or has a solution for the creaking sounds?

Gummi Pflege the seal that is in between the door and the body, not the one around the glass.

I observed the same that when the glass was fully up the creaking was worse.

 

One application cured it for a little while, the second a few days later cured it permanently.

I used Einszett Gummi Pflege.
