When a vrs is not a vrs

Featured Replies

Hi there I have a cypress green L&k skoda octavia mk1 1.8t 20v car 2004 it's not a vrs but 150bhp not 170bhp like a vrs also I don't think they did an l&k in vrs ?

It's cheaper insurance and says 8.1 0-60 compare to 7.9 for the vrs

I can't see any sold on fleabay or anywhere what's the sell on price please it's done 111.000 full service and good condition

Hello! Yep, the L&K was offered with the 150bhp version of the 1.8T (AGU code I believe...). Unless I'm mistaken it was only offered with the Haldex all wheel drive system too, or did they release a version with FWD only? That's where my knowledge runs out! :D

The VRS was quoted at around 180bhp as standard but being the sporty version the insurance is likely to be higher than the more luxurious offering of the L&K, even with similar performance. Unfortunately (or fortunately, whichever way you look at it) these cars we own and enjoy have very low resale values at the moment. Unless you have a VRS WRC edition or you've modified it to the nines you can pick any version up for a very reasonable price, even a bargain! I wouldn't know what yours would be worth; hopefully someone else can chime in on that one.

@abudabi555 - The L&K and vRS are 2 different models. Your L&K will have a full leather interior and matt silver 16" wheels yes?

there Yes that's right thanks for the info it's not worth that much on autotrader valuation it comes up as £1250 but I think that's well over estimated even though I see a lot of other cars for sale used asking for the valuation and even above !

Mine is Fwd version.  I enjoy driving it though because of the room for putting large items in and the speed isn't too bad
