Bluetooth - Parrot ??

Featured Replies

Hi,

im new to the group and looking for a little help/advice ! !

im planning on fitting a parrot ck3000 kit (from an old car) into my 2012 Superb which has the standard ‘Bolero head unit’ fitted and I’m told there may be a few issues with the ‘wiring harness’ nd the battery draining flat ?

I’ve bought the relevant new harness but I’ve read that you may sometimes have to ‘swap’ the orange power wire (ignition live) over with the red power wire (permanent/battery live)  - usually done at the ‘fuse pods’ , in order to stop the battery draining, does anyone know if this is correct ? If so, does this mean that there is no need to run an ‘ignition feed’ to the fuse box as is needed/recommended in other makes ?

thanks in advance for any help, advice on this matter, Jason

Sell the Parrott and buy the proper kit. It'll integrate properly and just work.

There is a night and day difference between the two. I had an MKi9200 in old Octavia and it was crap in comparison

My parrot was superior to the Columbus and initiating a call was all done by voice, not that pressing the telephone button on the steering wheel is any hardship.

The voice recognition was better too.
