Skoda Octavia vRS - Anti Roll Bars

Featured Replies

Looking at getting Anti Roll Bars fitted to my VRS MK3 Diesel

what would you recommend using

Eibach or H&R

Eibach - 28MM FRONT & 25MM REAR

H&R - 26MM FRONT & 24MM REAR

would you put both Fronts and Rears on the vehicle or just the Rear as I can get revo rear anti roll bar.

suggest just to rear first see how you like it - it's an easy swap.  had h&r on the last car, made a noticeable difference.

I thought of ARB on my previuos VRS to cure understeer.

And my experience is that - on the MkII -  a rear one (mine was a whiteline one, set at medium stiffness) tamed a lot the understeer.

Front ARB would surely tighten, but I don't know how it might contrast the beneficial rear effect on curing the understeer.

Any significant difference between eibach and h&r ARB?  I am on a bilstein B12 kit.

would there be any other parts that should be changed when changing the ARB?

I've got a pair of neuspeed arbs on my vrs estate and it's made a massive difference to the handling plus also done the strut brace, alloy subframe and alloy wishbones swap. All in my build thread

Poly bushes to replace the standard rubber ones sharpen things up nicely on my E36 BMW 325i alongside uprated ARB front/rear!:D

I would say so, yes.

There are 2 settings on both front and rear so you can adjust them to your personal liking.

Anyone fitted the whiteline one? Only 22mm but adjustable.

Isn't 22mm a bit thin compared to others?

What's the stock diameter? (230 mk3. Petrol)

I've done Whiteline front and rear, remember it's solid whereas stock and some aftermarket are hollow. Makes a reasonable difference, no funny noises yet

Cool. Didn't know that.

I've got a rear whiteline to fit, did you upgrade the drop links or just use standard?
