Pedalbox+ is it really just plug and play

Featured Replies

Just bought one gonna try fitting in the morning, no real instructions apart from plug it in. Read somewhere about it having to "learn" the pedal travel.

Yes, plus and play, impossible to get it wrong.

Hardest part is getting the existing connection undone - as it's a little cramped in there.

agree its easy to fit but work out where you are going to fix it to.

In the knee storage glove box surely?

Takes a little wiggle to get it off, but hides it completely.

Open it slightly and pull up, wiggle and pull to remove (takes a little too and fro)

To put back on, have it facing almost downwards so the latches line up easily and then slowly close it over the stopper as it's ramped in that direction to help.

Easy.

I saw easy, it took me ages to get it back on, until I realised that you could attach it without it being in place and then close it.

i got mine fixed to the left of the steering wheel, its out of the way but i can see the setting and change it easily. Its expensive but a great mod.

Fitted in 5 minutes ... now when I press the pedal it goes, like it should. Only tried up to orange (sport) so far but really pleased with the immediate  response I get now.

Red +3 is awesome if a little expensive on fuel

I've paired it with the tuningbox too, that's in Golf Clubsport map +3

It's a lotta fun only downside is less than 8k miles from the front tyres

Yeah, feels like I've got 10 extra horses under the bonnet

I was impressed with the standard pedal box on mine. I found having it on red made 'normal' driving a bit too jerky, but having it on orange was the best of both worlds.

As said above, having it in the knee glovebox makes doing any tweaks to it simple enough
