White wasnt a standard colour although a certain Briskoda member did manage to get one after a dealer messed up some orders

It looks clean, but you can't see the bits where they'd have bolted the lights, radio, Vascar etc

Police tend to fit alloy sump guards to their cars. I beought one from a staffordshire police octavia that was written off.

I imagine its been driven over many feilds, but to be honest, any damaged parts will have been replace no expense spared! I'd have one..... cheap as chips!

I'd get a full RAC inspection and rest easy if I was buying one. As has been said, it would have been fully maintained with OEM parts. As long as there wasn't anything currently wrong with it, there would be no issue I can think of.

I think most of the plod cars change the speedo to a calibrated one, so may be a coincidence that it looks familiar!

My white ex-plod vRS has 94k on the clock and drives as if it was new still. I got a print out from the police detailing all the work carried out on it and it was serviced just before I bought it. It doesnt have a sump guard though, not even the standard plastic one, looks like it got ripped off somewhere.

Yes it has probably had a hard life, but I have only found OEM parts fitted to it and I got it cheap. I'd buy from the police again any day, there are bargains to be had there!

They could well be the ones, I think they sold at the auctions for less than £4000 though - a bargain I think
