i have just ordered a new Superb - my forth. I love them - but the salesman couldn't tell me if it would come with the current 1.4 engine or it's 1.5 replacement. Does anybody out there advise me please.

Any reason the salesman never checked what your car would be if a new build not yet built.

They should tell you the WLTP figures, and what the VED will be.

 

It will be a 1.5TSI if not yet built.   I would get that in writing from the supplying dealerships Dealer Principal, and he or she should train their Sales Executives.
