Octavia VRS 2.0TSi 230 Full milltek system vs full Tony banks

Featured Replies

I am torn between having a milltek exhaust system or a Tony banks system.

Now I know that milltek have the brand and Tony Banks is an individual.

howver, having spoken to numerous people no one can say a bad word about a Tony banks system.

now other people swear by milltek and wouldn’t have anything else.

Now the Tony banks system would be a 3” system like the milltek. Howver the Tony banks system is considerable cheaper.

now is the milltek really worth the extra money or not.

If anyone can answer this question and give a explanation to why this would be highly appreciated. As I don’t want to spend the extra money just on the name if not required

An exhaust by Tony Banks will be worth every penny including the VAT.

The Milltek one is a profit to Milltek then the supplier fitter and VAT.  You are paying extra for the Name & their advertising not a better performance exhaust IMO.

I have as you can see below, a Tony Banks exhaust. Full cat back with the sound and exhaust tips I wanted, £360. All I can say is, I have been very pleased with it and originally went to Tony after I read numerous reviews and posts praising the quality of their work. If the quality is the same or even better, why go and pay extra just for the Milltek name. Mind you, Tony has built up a fair name for himself as well.

That’s exactly the way I am thinking as well guys. I am just trying to make sure other people are thinking the same way as me
