This is probably a long shot, but can the voice directions be changed to announce road numbers properly?

 

For say the A192 it announces it as A one hundred and ninety two instead of the A one nine two.

 

I'm sure my last car (Qashqai) didn't announce directions like this.

Would also be very interested in a solution ! It's most confusing to hear the A419 to be announced as "A FOUR HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE" !!

I have a Karoq on order, does the directions come on the screen between the speed/rev meters?

I follow the directions here in my current seat leon with the nav sound on mute. 

Is it just me that hears 'passable' for 'possible'?

Yes directions are displayed between the speedo and rev counter.

I have been in a Touareg and the numbers are like that too, must be the way VWG do their numbers our Lexus used to say it 'properly'!

 

We have noticed a few funnies, she doesn't say Hastings properly she says it using a short 'a' like in apple and Docklands sounds like Ducklands, 

 

anyone else found any funnies like this?

I don't use voice control much but when I did once in the Octy scout I had she cant have recognized my Yorkshire accent as the answer was so funny we all started laughing, the next thing was she told us to be quiet! so I ended up with 3 women in the car  telling me to shut up!! Also Worksop came out as Worksip!
