I’m looking to order a new pollen filter for my 2010 vrs diesel Octavia. Looking online there  seems to be a multitude of different makes and there seems to be differences in overall dimensions etc. Any recommendations ?

Drive to a Motor Factors, remove your Pollen filter, go into the parts desk and ask for a new one like the dirty one you have in your hand.

They can cross check the part No. get one out and compare with the one you have. 

I just put my reg into euro car parts and it always comes up with the correct pollen filter. Your filter is probably the same as mine. They are so easy to take out though, Offski idea is a good one. 

Many thanks. Took old filter to German Swedish ? Got correct one and fitted already. Just need to get rid of air con smells now.
