Guys, just bought Spaceback 18 mnths old, 11084 miles, from dealer, right price from checking online, test drive fine, mileage after was 11100 - then he laid it on me - car had only one key, no owners manual, no sat-nav SD card, no service log book - said all would be found on collection - on collection told got to take car back in 3 weeks to have a new key coded, given a Rapid manual not Spaceback, got a SD card fitted but given a radio manual - not for sat-nav, they say Rapid manual same as Spaceback and I'll get sat-nav manual, when getting key coded - but what I find really odd is they say no service log books used now as records are electronic, I'd previously asked what servicing car had, and on collection given a sheet of dealer headed paper stating serviced 2 months ago, mileage 11100 and not detailed what was done. Am I to be concerned ?

It's correct, SKoda don't have paper service log books for a few years now.

 

Ironically my SEAT, built and equipped on the same production line at Skoda's main factory, does have one.
