that's really strange because my mate had to recode all 3 new injectors when he fitted them himself and the stealer said the same thing when they replaced 1 in mine for £800!!! Good to know for the future.

You should match the injector code to the ECU.

Apparently if you dont it still runs.

 

However the instruction from the manuafacturer is that they should be programmed to the engine ECU.
