So my brand new 68 plate Superb Sportline 220 arrived today. The only specified optional extra was front heated seats. But it has the 9.2 inch Columbus fitted, is this standard? Also I thought the electric boot was standard but mines is manual? There is also a fault with the passenger door speaker rattling with the bass, anyone had this?

Certainly feels a big quality upgrade from my MK3 vRS.

I think the electric boot is standard on the sportline plus rather than the sportline. Columbus 9.2 is on both. (At least that's the case in the UK... can't see your location on mobile site,  think I need to change something)

Yes I'm UK. Thanks for those replies. So sounds like only issue is a dodgy speaker which is a bit disappointing as I thought that might have been checked at some point before delivery. Will probably have to book it in to get replaced under warranty.

If it sounds bad take it back and have them fix it (probably a loose bolt), shouldn't be any niggles on a new car :-)

I had similar in my cupra, but a healthy dose of DnB and a jolt or two over some speed bumps and it disappeared, so I guess I was pretty lucky.

Just checking this again online it's showing the Columbus as an option and the Amundsen 8" as standard, this if for TDI as the 220 is no longer available but would imagine they are same spec for Sportline models?

If you ordered it before the split to "normal" and "Plus" they may have given you the benefit of things which were standard when there was only 1 type of SPortline available, but have been removed (or downgraded) once they introduced the split

This is true for the Sportline. Columbus is standard on Sportline Plus. - see page 8 of the spec pdf. (my original reply was incorrect )

Sounds like you got a free upgrade
