Engine overboost condition

Featured Replies

Bit of background on my 2007 fabia estate.

A few months ago the engine cut out and would choke itself out. I will try to link the original thread.

The garage said the turbo had gone and replaced it. They also replaced various other sensors as there was a continuing issue.

If you push the car like accelerating to over take or an uphill dual carriageway, the engine feels like it looses all its guts and whilst you can accelerate, it’s slow and there is no kick to the acceleration. I’ve plugged into a code reader and it’s coming up with a Engine Overboost condition code.

Any ideas as the gargae were stumped.

Restart the engine and the car is fine again.
