Suspension?

Featured Replies

Hello!

I have a question, i know that Skoda is a part of vag but do they share the same suspension as the passat for example. I got a friend thats selling coilovers for her 04 passat sedan and im thinking about buying Them, but om not sure. I looked Up some suspension article numbers and some have the same for both My sedan Skoda superb mk1 and the passat but not all. Thanks!

Get the part number for the Coilovers from your friend off the receipt / box or parts and see if they are compatible for a Superb, importantly your Superb.

?

What Brand of Coilovers are they, and can you not check that companies Fitment List for what vehicles they are for?

Check on the coilover manufacturer's website.

Beware buying cheap/used coilovers though. Adjustment collars can commonly seize. Cheap coilovers don't tend to last. Lower and stiffer does not necessarily mean that handling will be improved, even on a smooth race track.
