Sliding Rear Seat in Mk III Superb Estate

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if there is a conversation to slide the rear seat forward in the Mk III estate, to give a longer boot space. It can be done in the Kodiaq, so what about the Superb, which I understand shares the same platform. Can I use Skoda parts, or would I need a specialist conversion?

I dont think this is something that is easiky doable. The seat back and base are seperate. So will require a lot of fabrication and you will probably end up loosing room due to extra fabrication.  It'll probably be cheaper to get a towbar and a trailer.

Hi Adrian, Many thanks for your reply. I’m actually looking for more space for my dogs, so couldn’t use a trailer. I guess the back seat arrangements are different between the Superb and Kodiaq.

The estate does have an enormous boot even with the seat backs up.  I guess you already have one and found that the dogs could do with more space?

Could you fold the rear seats down and use a partition net to separate them from the front seats?
