Dash clock seems to be more than one?

Featured Replies

Hi, I’ve just started driving a 2000 Skoda Fabia MK1 as my first car, so I’m still getting used to everything! I looked up how to change the time and it worked fine, but scrolling through the different options there seems to be two different time displays?

i’m probably being silly and one of them is something completely different but I would really like to know what exactly it is! As you can see in the photos one of them just shows the time, the other one also has a ‘2’ and a picture of a clock.

If anyone knows what the difference is and what I should do that would be great thanks

Elapsed driving time since last reset

There's another one - with a "1" - for journey time.

There's a button under one of the stalks to switch the trip computer between single trip [1] and "since reset" [2] modes.

@MaryElizabeth97 - On the higher specification models, the "clock" is actually a multi-function display for a trip computer. You'll find the "switch value" rocker switch on the end of the wiper stalk. In Mode 2, it will display time of day, run hours since last reset up to 99:59, and a couple of other things (can't remember what since I normally use mine in Mode 1, which gives useful stuff like time of day, trip duration, average speed this trip, average mpg this trip, instantaneous mpg, available range and current outside temperature).
