See Lucifers Ultimate Guide Part 2 Pinned up top.

A good 1.4 TSI Twincharger to start with, a Stage 1 APR Map and you are at 205 ps plus and perfectly safe. DENSO Spark Plugs.

That will give you a 0-110 mph speed quite quick. Even 30-120 is fast for a Warm Hatch.

Remove the rear weights, fit good tyres, suspension and brakes and you are going round corners quick and coming out of them.

5w 40 FS oil to VW502 00 & Tesco Momentum 99 Super Unleaded.

A CAVE Engine unless it is a replacement is over 6 years old,

A water pump will be needed soon if not done and the 2 rubber belts need replacing almost certainly.

What power do you want?   Rebuild the Engine, have it Blueprinted, throw all the money you want at it and uprate the clutch packs and software on the DSG and the world is your oyster.  It might still not last.

Do not get a Revo remap on a Twincharger, read the warnings though.

There are threads by MMracer in Australia with his Stage 2 Mk2 vRS Fabia Estate that does sprints and hillclimbs, Intercooler. downpipe etc etc

it is fast, and there is a thread in the project section with a member with a AutoCross modified Mk2 Hatch,

all the gear and all the speed you might need.
