Hi Guys just some info. I would be ordering a new Karoq from the factory ordered through  Car wow and dealer

i intend to pay a deposit . Then in 12 weeks time having signed a 36 months finance deal to pay the total off plus interest. 

Having never done this can sombody just give me advice before I commit

OT a bit.

Take the 12 weeks to delivery with a sack of salt. 

You will not sign in 12 weeks if the car is not there with a PDI done and first registered ready to drive away.

There are 17 days in a Skoda week................

Well have ordered now.....Take the point re dealer saying 12 weeks but that is what Skoda told them     Shame if the data from Skoda is so bad and unreliable.

Dealer told me 13 weeks back in January, due to the extra bits and bobs i wanted.

 It was in fact.....14 weeks.

I had hoped  to buy from them despite a really bad experience on a MOT two yrs ago ,   brakes problem....Another story so won't bore you.

I did not get the feeling that they cared if I bought from them or not,  infact had hoped more communications from them while I saved for the car.  Did not feel the love...

 

 So just opened it up to the web to see if I could get a good deal.   I had tried another garage near my son. In England but again they seemed to stick to the no deal Skoda policy. And would not sell a demo vehicle even though I asked them to keep me informed since March..

So I might be being unfair to John Clark. But after buying my lovely VRS Octavia from them four years ago I had hoped they would have been my dealer of choice 

But you can't throw money away ?.Carwow offered me a good deal.   The dealer was excellent at communication thus they will get my money and I hope they will get me the car!

spec 1.5 petrol.  Petrol blue SEL  sat nav cruise control etc

Whatever date it comes (and I expect the 12 weeks is unlikely) and longer is more realistic

You only get finance docs to sign when car is at dealers

 

You basically can either cancel and pay off loan within 14 days (a cooling off period) and just pay few days interest,

or can settle early, (but after 14 days) then will be charged interest in monthly blocks and may need to pay early settlement fee
