I had the same issue, contacted Superskoda and you have to pop the trim off and apparently cut the backing off to fit the LEDs.

I wasn't happy about doing this so decided to just go with LED replacement lamps instead.

I assume you could buy a new one from a dealer but haven't investigated that as yet....

The lamp assembly to which that fits looks nothing like a superb ??

Yep, that alternative looks like some sort of panel light, rather than the round light version, with switches in the middle..

Even buying the 'correct' round LEDs you would still have to chop the tabs off the reflector on the back of the trim, and then remove the reflector part completely.  If I could have sourced a cheap spare I would have a go, but I am not going to chop up the only one I have, I just stuck in some T10 W5W silicone lamps meantime and they seem to work well.
