Change dash display

Featured Replies

Hi,

At the moment I can scroll through the various dash display options such as mpg, mph, distance etc. But it only shows one of these options at a time which I can change via the scroll wheel.

I wondered if there is a way to show more than one option at a time to save having to scroll through one by one? I looked through the Bolero settings but couldn’t see an option to change it though :(

Thanks.

I don't think it's possible, I haven't seen it done.

The facelift Colour Maxidot is able to show a journey summary which combines a number of them; mpg, distance, journey time etc. not sure if this only shows at the end of a trip though or whether a selectable option to permanently display. A facelift owner can probably confirm here.

Thanks, that’s a shame as I feel I take my eyes off the road too much as I scroll through. I have a pre face lift 2015. My old golf GTI grouped various stats which was much more practical IMO.

put the car info on the main radio display? that's the way I do it...

Yeah I have done that but then I loose the radio/media display. Oh well, will just put up with it and do it this way. It’s not that bad, just a little annoying.

Thanks!

Have the audio display on the Maxidot and the Car display on the radio screen :)

There is an interface for the VW Immo3 MFD that allowed you to pull loads of info in, even play snake.

Surprised they don't have something similar for the later versions although you're unlikely to actually need all that info all the time and having it will make it harder for you to read due to the text having to be smaller to make it fit.

You'll get to know the menus to the point where you know that to get from A to G, you press and scroll so many times. It'll become second nature.

Yeah that is true, I’m still finding my way around the car. So in time I am sure I will get used to it. Thanks!

How do you do that please?    2013 model here.

Press CAR on the radio to view the car info tab, scroll the right hand steering wheel roller (or button on the wiper stalk if you don’t have MFSW) over to Audio et voila :)
