Approved used Skoda 2.0 diesel

Featured Replies

Hi

I'm in the process of purchasing an Octavia 2.0 Diesel SE Technology with 9000 miles on a 67 plate for £14k is that worth it ?

Welcome.

Sounds OK, are you seeing any with lower asking prices anyplace else?

Have you seen the car?

Have you asked who had the car for the last 9,000 miles, and anything that the Dealership knows.

Ask if any Warranty Work carried out.

Maybe try to get an Interim Service carried out before you get the car and no extra expense than have it on Fixed or Variable Servicing depending on your annual mileage.

Fixed is 9,400 miles / 372 days,  Variable up to about 19,000 and 24 months.

Ive seen the car and test drove it ... Its great , It was driven by an Skoda Employee which is why its a high spec , Got metallic grey too which is an extra I believe ! , I’ve knocked it down by quite a bit and I can’t see them going for any less than £14k unless its higher mileage

anything you would suggest looking out for ?

OK, so they say Ex Management car, first registered keeper VW Finance or a Dealership.

Only one driver.   No probs all used cars can have had more than one or one dozen drivers, even been a courtesy car.

They will know who that Skoda Employee was since they know it was one so be sure to ask.

Costs them really nothing to service the car for you, £40 or less trade price of parts and 30 mins more of the 'Workshop Safety Checks' carried out by a trained technician.

sorry if i am a sceptic, it is just that i am, you know they lie sometimes when their lips move.

Be sure 4 matching tyres with no wear other than you might expect from 9,000 miles of a well looked after car with no alignment issues.
