Hi there, new to the forum I own a '07 Fabia VRS & I'm largely pleased with it so far.

 

However, I am wondering if anyone has ever made DIY boost hoses to fit the standard SMIC? I'm thinking something along the lines of alloy pipes & silicone bends. Would I need to get an uprated SMIC (if one exists) for regular silicone hoses to mount to as the VAG connectors look strange? I've searched the site but struggling to find any solid answers.

 

I don't want to commit to FMIC as I'm not looking for more power than it has already (~180bhp) & I want to retain the OEM look. I'm mostly looking to cure the weeping standard boost hoses.
