Lidl are getting cordless impact wrenched next Thursday here. I have the corded, mains powered version of this and it's brilliant. I'll be getting gone to keep in the car I think. 

The little inspection camera looks insanely useful!!!

I have a £10 inspection thing that connects to your phone via WiFi it's OK but I expect that one is better. 

I bought the impact wrench and tried it today but it couldn't undo my wheel bolts. They hadn't been over-tightened by a tyre fitting monkey either.

 

I think I'll take it back and get a more beefy one at some point 

They are only 300Nm I think, good ones are over twice this power

If you're going to invest in tools, buy good quality ones that will last a lifetime. I've done with bargain tools from the distant past, false economy. If they don't chew things up, they'll frustrate you and let you down when its critical.

 

Impact wrench? Makita, Dewalt etc.

 

Personally I've never had a need for one, a torque wrench has served me well. I did buy a beautifully made long breaker bar because everyone told me VAG carrier bolts would need it. But they didn't, so never been used. But if an ape ever overtightens something, then I've got the right tool.
