hi guys.

2104 superb2.0 cr

ive just had cambelt changed and now have a weird noise in the cabin. if you pull trim off in passenger footwell(the bit with the netting phone holder) alongside the gearstick I can feel/hear a vibration from a "valve" there. tried reseting the climatronic by holding the ac and front vent buttons. It does seem to have got better on the drive home tho.

I did raise the issue at garage,and to be fair I agree they have only changed cambelt and gone nowhere near this.

cant help wondereing if its a coolant bleeding/airlock issue.

as expected,when I tried to scan with vagcom laptop battery is flat,so when its charges ill try that but hought id ask here as well

After somemore prodding and tablet having power, it seems left temp flap is stuck.

So, how to free it off? 

Maybe cambelt was just a coincidence

Update

Found out how glovebox comes out. Tirns out the flap motor casing had partially come apart. Clipped back together,reinstalled and scanned. It did it again. Take out stick a cabletie round it and rescan. Do the flap thing with vagcom and no fault codes.

Shouldve noted part no as there may still be a fault with motor.
