2017 Octavia windscreen wipers

Featured Replies

Hi

My 2017 model year Octavia needs new wiper blades (starting to smear) but every site I have tried doesnt seem to list any for late model Ocatvias. They do for "model year 2014 onwards" or similar. Does anyone know if all MKIII Octavias including the facelift ones use the same windscreen wipers ?

Secondly anyone tried Bosch Aero wipers on an Ocatvia?

Thanks

2014 onwards means exactly as it sounds.

All Mk3 wipers are the same.

You can buy Bosch aero wipers for about £25 from Europarts to fit the MkIII, they're ok.

I go to motor parts direct for mine.

Thanks people.

Lukewarm on the Bosch Aero's Redboy, is there anything markedly better? Not bothered about ultimate longevity just the ability to shift water and muck of the windscreen.

After driving through torrential rain in France for several hours last weekend, with the wipers at their top speed, I can vouch for the new Bosch Aeros I had just fitted. Can't  be bettered in my view. Got them from an Ebay shop for under £25.

I putted Bosch wipers, they were squeaking from day one! 4 months later started to smear. Barely used them! Škoda one were more expensive but better, lasted for a year!
