Does DPF regen if warning lights on?

I've got some warning lights which I think are to do with sticky turbo vanes. Still been driving ok apart from the occasional limp, but today I had the DPF light come on! Haven't seen it for a very long time as I generally do a lot of longer drives.

Is it known that the DPF doesn't regen if there's some faults, or shall I give it more of a chance on the motorway (or is that doing more harm)?

?

What warning light due to sticky turbo vanes, and who diagnosed that?

You best get your car sorted out, and ask that technician or mechanic what is going on.

?

Has your car had The Fix?  So new engine management & the Flow Device fitted.

& how many miles has it done from new, and since the Fix if done?

In my experience, when the DPF light comes on when you NEED a regen. Driving without doing it will inevitably result in limp mode and a forced region being needed. I would get the other faults checked without continuing to drive and/or ask a main dealer for that info as a matter of urgency.

A forced regen will cost you around the £200 mark so better to check/clear the codes!

In 3 years of owning my Skoda, only once the DPF light came on and that's to do with the fact I've been driving in the city only for like 2 months. When the light is on it requires extra attention possibly it can't regen properly or there's a lot of residue oil ash stuck in the dpf.
