Anyone tried/or using these tyres. They get very good reviews from several  web sites.

 

I do around 5000 miles per year in my 230.  

 

 

I had them on my Scirocco R and they were pretty good. The place I bought them from and buy my tyres from most of the time told me that was what the guys with the Golf Rs were buying so they must be decent enough.

 

I can't tell you about longevity as I traded the Scirocco in after 6 months of having them fitted

They are made by SRI ( Sumitomo Rubber Industries ) who own the Protyre chain of tyre company's in the UK.

The 5th biggest tyre manufacturer in the world.

If you exclude the biggest tyre manufacturer, a Danish one?

Just fitted a pair to the front of my octavia. They seem much quieter than the Goodyear that they replaced. Initial impression is that grip seems fine too.
