tdi power loss

Featured Replies

Hi, ive done the usual job of cleaning the mef sensor which made a difference but the problem is there intermittently.Sometimes the car flies while another time it's as flat as a f*rt. There is no pattern to it and turning the engine off makes no difference but however it mostly better on cold days.

Any ideas guys?

Can't help on the problem front I'm afraid but spotted you lived in Andover too! Will have to look out for you around

Chris

could be the air flow sensor controling the air to the filter. had a problem where i had no acceleration but had revs went to the dealer and they said it was the above

Unfortunately for whatever reason, this is a common fault in the TDI.

I experience the same all the time. One minute its *** to the seat next its driving miss daisy. Dealers can't find anything as it's not so obvious.
