Radio dead, how many fuses?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

This is a new one for me... My radio (aftermarket) died the other day, I thought nothing of it really and bought a new one. To my surprise, after installing it, it too didn't work! So, with my (in)famous ability to deduce, I figured the fuse was blown. Checked the manual, which told me fuse 45 (20A) protects the radio circuit.

Pulled the fuse out - it was perfectly fine. So, I measured voltage at the connector and it turned out to be 0V. What am I missing here? Are there any hidden fuses somewhere, or what? I'm perplexed!

Thanks in advance for any input on this :)

Check fuse 10 as well.
