Extending warranty

Featured Replies

My Monte will be 3yrs old in May 2019. Do Skoda offer an extended warranty?

Ta

Would it mean being stuck with expensive Skoda servicing though?

^^^ You would be best buying the Extended Warranty of 1 or 2 years before a car is First Registered, or when ordering.

Re this Skoda Extended Warranty.

It requires 'Servicing to manufacturers guidelines',   that does no tie you to VW Group Main Dealerships,

and Manufacturers Guidelines are not clear, so Variable Servicing intervals are OK, 24 months 18,000 - 20,000 miles, which ever comes first.

So OEM parts / Fluids & a VAT Registered Establishment, yet it does not have that in the T&C's that i can see.

Also note Skoda extended warranties do not include roadside assistance.

Skoda Assist is only provided during the initial three-year warranty.

Thanks guys.

I think I will end up sticking with the Skoda warranty.

I am not unduly fussed about the roadside assist as I have personal cover with the RAC.

I have never considered purchasing an extended warranty before, especially for a car that has only done 11k, I think that speaks volumes about my faith in the car.
