I have a useless mitsumi interface in my octavia.  how easy is it to swap out for a usb socket instead?  is it possible to purchase the part and fit it myself?  anyone else done it?

 

Or other option, is to find a part for mitsumi to connect to my Samsung S8 (usb c connector)

 

any help appreciated.

This might be cheaper than trying to change the socket?
