Undertray

Featured Replies

Good evening all, to cut a long story short my Mk 2 VRS plastic undertray has been damaged so i can't screw it back on, would it be the end of the world if i took it off and drove around without an undertray for a few weeks? I've tried everything to fix it back up but the back corner has been completely destroyed so putting it back up isn't an option :(

Just expect a dirty engine bay from splashes and road grime,  bits that could rust are now more exposed to the elements. Wouldn't wanna run a car through winter with out one myself.

Mine came off driving through a ford and was advised by AA and garage that running without one could result in damage to the underside of the car with increased chances of rust damage and debris. Wasn't very expensive to replace when I got mine done (few years ago now).
