ok this is minor but i'd like anyone that can assure me its not serious please?

from cold she is as dead as french duck........ put foot down and no way! overspeed kicks in

but when hot and quite often she keeps revving ???:confused: I'll be at a junction and the revvs go from 1000rmp to 2000rmp .... have to kick the accelorator to stop her.

i think the fuel pump??? but she has been like this a long time now ..... should i allow funds to replace it?
