I bought my year old Octavia VRS recently, plugged in my Ipod to the UBS socket, and it worked. Recently, although the screen shows the details, there is no sound, and none of the sound controls turn it on. Am not aware of having turned it off, and wonder what the issue is. It can't just be compatibility, as the Amundsen system worked when I first used it. Any one else come across this?

Have u tried a different cable? Also maybe better to ask this in the relevant octavia section

Thanks, Adrian. Have tried other cable but this does not appear to be the problem. Will keep trying. Excuse my lack of experience of this site.
