Aye aye, my new Skoda's just Superb!

Featured Replies

Hello from sunny (!) Ayrshire, just bought my first skoda, 2020 superb 2.0l 170 elegance estate. Needed a car which was practical (to carry my chainsaws -occasionally!), comfortable for my wee family, and more economical than my old honda crv mk2. A friend has a mk3 hatch, and I was really impressed with the looks and space. Had to travel down to Southampton to get it mind you - they're like hens teeth up here.

This is the third owner forum I've joined, the best up til now being the ford galaxy owners group. I'm sure you'll be just as good!

Congrats! How did you manage to obtain 2020 model year car? Is it facelift?

Cheers folks. Didn't actually mind the journey- £60 for a flight from Glasgow, left the crappy weather to blazing sunshine :emoticon-0157-sun: The 400 -odd mile trip home gave me a good introduction to the big car - and it's impressive power! Really need to watch my right foot - I got this principally for the improved fuel economy after all...

One gripe is the lack of a spare wheel. I need to search this here forum for the classified section.

Yes - I don't go far without a spare.  Those repair kits they issue are about as much use as the proverbial chocolate tea pot.  Even a space saver is better than nothing.
