Doesn't that have a single backbox anyway, just two outlets?

I’ve no idea tbh. I assumed the setups were the same on both vRS and Golf.

I see the 4x4 DSG in the Scout is now on the 150 Diesel rather than the more powerful previous engine(184?).

And you can now get a SE L 4x4 DSG with the same engine (and in L&K).

Oh and ...

...seems a bit unlikely!

184 diesel is absent. 2.0TSi 190 4x4 coming soon

Diesel is a brave choice in the new line up. The 190 Petrol is cheaper, has better residuals and pretty good economy.

Need to do serious miles to justify the lower powered diesel.

Does that mean there would be a 2.0 petrol Scout?

  • 4 weeks later...

2.0 TSi 190 4x4 is on the Czech  Configurator now, but no sign (yet?) of the petrol Scout which was supposed to be on the cards.  Of course the availability in CZ doesn't guarantee Skoda UK will deign to sell us one.

And a new price/spec document dated today on Skoda UK, with the main difference seeming to be higher prices

But as you say, no Scout petrol.

At least they've worked out that the Scout diesel is an Estate now, though - last month's said it was a hatch.

The VRS hatch DSG has gone up about £700!

I think last price (when I ordered mine) was £28,065 so its a bit cheeky. Only thing I can see on the spec sheet rhats changed is they now state lane assist as a standard feature

Lane asisst has always been standard, my 2016 vRS has that.

My my16 has it too, however it wasnt on the list when I ordered 3 weeks ago, I put it down to more penny pinching. It was listed amongst the options in a packaEDIT: just checked a historical verison of the sheet (the one that still shows park assist as standard) and its there, yet I missed it at least 10 times. Dur.

Have got my MY19 a week ago I can confirm it has Lane Assist.. well the options to enable/disable it are there :) Personally I'm fine controlling this myself

Congrats and Enjoy your honeymoon ;) Why are you on Briskoda right now? lol silly question

I'm loving it - its such a nice car to drive. Simply effortless, I only have my old Stage 1 mapped Seat Leon Cupra Mk1 with the 1.8T engine to compare it to (I sold that some 8 years ago). This has it all and more out of the box and the VAQ diff is something else when pressing on unlike any other FWD car I've owned ever. The toys/infotainment just take it to that next level. Also my first DSG let alone auto car ever.

When the leon mk1 20vt came out I was driving a mk2 Ibiza 2.0 16v Cupra sport in Kiwi Yellow. It was an S reg with 150bhp and red seat belts. I really wanted a 20vt but they were obscene money to me as I was still an apprentice. I would be driving  a top level cupra now if the local dealer wasnt an absolute asshat. Ive seen the light though and I now drive past the SEAT dealer to get to my Skoda guys, the next dealer is 50 miles of windy roads away. My mk3 FR was the last straw for me.

Well I had my heart set on the Cupra 300 5 door - but all the PCH deals had gone and the other bad thing was a min 6 months lead time from ordering to delivery. The Octavia came into play because of MY19 PCH deals and the broker I used was able to intercept existing factory order as long as I didn't want anything other than a spare wheel option. I got a 1+23 deal for my vRS DSG basically based on the old pre WLTP list price basically as I committed quickly enough. Ordered Sept delivered early Nov
