Id be surprised that mirrors, hinges etc need regular lubrication on modern cars, what with modern plastics, nylon66, ptfe, teflon, even IP ratings, maybe sealed motor/gearboxes

 

Maybe there should be a grease nipple on those mirrors.  I threw my grease gun away 3 or 4 years ago....doh!
