Dear All I have skoda Laura (octavia mk2 2010 diesel).

 

All of sudden the lock function only not working either from remote for or Central lock switch inside car. But I am able to open the car with my remote fob and inside car. Checked fuses battery in fob and main battery. All ok. Remote working fine for opening but only lock is not working. Also mechanically if I lock with key only driver side door is locking. Any help and suggestion. I am a DIY enthusiastic

Have you checked the fuses? Fuse box behind the dash panel no12

I see you have checked them my guess would be a broken wire somewhere

Take a look inside the "snake" that carries wires between the drivers door and the main body. Not unknown to find a broken wire in there.
