Can anyone tell if the Door window switch and mirror toggle should be illuminated, if not as anyone done this?

It shouldn't be illuminated, it would be an easy retrofit, the Polo 6r switch is the same, as I'm sure others would be

Hi guys, does anyone know how to remove door switches panel? I would like to change mirror switch for illuminated one, and maybe windows switches as well. I couldn't find any manual to help with this task. I did try to lift it from the back side with a trim removal tool, but with no success.

I managed to take it out today, but it's not very easy. Had to start from a front and continue back where are three lock points on each side.

I ordered mirror switch  for VW Polo 6r6RD959565B from eBay, so I will update it later how it is going.

I did try to plug it in today but LED didn't work, so I'm giving up on these. I don't know if it's just faulty or cheap Chinese item. Most likely it's me, not good enough, to make it work as I'm not an electrician 😉
