- Mirror's Painted in Silver
- Roof Rails painted in Silver (Couln't find the original ones)

- Wheels from facelift

- Logo front and back from new facelift (Ordered from Superskoda)

- Original PDC sensors and module (Pics comming soon)
- New Steering wheel from facelift model
- New MIB navigation from facelift model (Bought from Ebay)

- Dimming rearview mirror (The car had a rain light sensor but no dimming mirror?!)
- DAB Antenna

Things to do:

- Activate Hill Hold (Think i need a new ABS module)

So, Update number 1

Today I installed the Power folding mirrors.

Check my howto here:

Few weeks back I installed the new steering wheel and the MIB.

The steering wheels was a bit of pain in the ass. I bought a Octavia 3 steering wheel, but the buttons were not working. You need original buttons of a Skoda yeti facelift with green lighting (I think the latest yeti has white lighting? Can anyone confirm?) Or Octavia 2 buttons.
I bought the buttons separately on eBay.
This one I know for sure it works : 5E0919719F

But there are more topics about this:

You don't have to upgrade the Steering module if you had a MFSW. Only Buttons, harnas and Airbag. I like the 4 spoke more then the 3 spoke sterring wheel.

Has your MIB STD2 PQ unit been patched against Components Protection?

Yes!

Didn’t do it myself.

Bought it on eBay unlocked.

There is only one problem I could find. After 3 to 4 hours driving without stops, component protection comes up. After restarting the car it is gone. I have the unit for a few month now, only see it once on a long trip.

Bought it here:

https://www.m.ebay.com/sch/i.html?isRefine=true&sid=auto_navi_service

He has no MIB unit at the moment.

This is OK - CP timer expires, radio locks with CP and then need to be restarted to reset CP. You don;t hae to stop the car - just keep power butto pressed until the uniyt restarts with logo.

Ah ok.

No worries then.

Happy with the MIB, I bought it for the same price as the RNS510 is going for.

But this device has so much more options.

few months ago I fitted the original PDC sensors. Found a set here in Holland for around €300,- including sensors, cable, speaker and PDC module. Took me around 2,5 hours to fit.

Followd the manual I found somewhere online.

Only problem I found was that the sensors were the other way around. So left was right and visa versa.

I swapped the cables inside the connector to the pdc module.

The bumper has a marking on the inside of where the PDC sensor should be. That is a big advantage and save’s a lot of work.

Since I got the door modules with options for folding mirrors and puddle lights. I installed ambient lighting.

I bought 4 led footwell lights on eBay. I was planning to use them on the yeti but the yeti uses the pin for the rear fog light. I build 2 of these in de door panel.

I solderd 1 extra led on the light and use it under the door handle.

To connect the lights use pin 8 on the blue connector. I solderd the negative on the brown wire.

Activate “ambient light installed” with vcds in the door module and all works well.

  • 3 weeks later...

Fitted front heated seats this weekend.

Bought this climate control : 3T0907044CS on eBay.

And the kufatec cable for the Octavia 2 (couldn’t find one for the yeti)FC422A3A-4700-4803-8086-43CB6C8D1E52.thumb.jpeg.fd75431acce9a6209f9336a8da9f986f.jpeg

And 2 original Skoda Yeti seats with heating. (Only with some other print, mine were black).

It took me around 1,5 hours to fit the cable and climate panel.

I bought the Octavia kufatec cable, there is a difference in the layout. Pin 7 in the connector for the seat needs to go in pin4. Same as for the MK6 golf.

See this diagram:

Here You can see the 2 connectors (the one with white cables is the kufatec.

And passenger side:

Here is the pin 7 on the kufatec connector also wrong and needs to go to pin 4. (Photo is original connector on the seat).

there is also a grey wire on the kufatec loom that runs from the climate panel to the fuse box, this on you don’t need (I cut it off).

The seats I bought had a different print on it, so I swapped the foam cushions with heating pads with the original seats I had. This took me arround 3,5 hours for both seats.

I is a lot of work but I can be done.

Followd a manual here on the forum to disassemble the seats.

If you have seats complete with heating this is a great an fast upgrade.

Bought the cable, seats and climate panel for € 150,-
