Edit: You get a great idea of the acceleration on the 'merge' vids. I am sure I noticed some of those roads too esp. Pinhoe, I lived in Devon from 93-99 (Plymouth, Sidmouth then Exeter).

In the vids is that a stock exhaust system or do you have a milltek on your vRS? Sounds pretty nice.

Definitely not a stock exhaust, pretty much a straight through pipe IIRC

I've got a Blueflame and it's a lot more quiet inside the car at least, that said I have a lot of soundproofing in the car in addition
