2ltr petrol VRS FL bonnet question...

To those of you that own or have owned a 2ltr VRS petrol model...

Has your bonnet got the black sound deadening / insulating matt attached ( underneath of course :biggrin: ) ? Mine hasn't and according to my local main stealer it was a factory option which I find a little hard to believe!? So if you could take a look it would be very much appreciated, if mine is missing I want to get one sorted ready for the colder weather.

My VRS Octavia also did not have the under the bonnet mat, or it didn't until I bought one a couple of months ago. From memory it cost around £24-£26 from TPS and comes with the plastic fixings.

My Ex 2011 FL Tsi Vrs didn't have it fitted either. until I bought one

My MkIII 230 didn't either until I fitted the one off the MKIII Tdi Vrs I was trading in.................. Then it did.

Hi all, recently bought a 2016 Fabia 1.2tsi with 1 key and it's the push button start, had 2 mobile locksmiths out and both have the same problem, they can cut and programme the keys so it locks and unlocks and will start the car but the new key they cut will only start the car if held right up to the button and then you get the dreaded "key not found" warning and noise,the original key works fine so I can't see that it's a car fault and I can put up with holding the spare key up to the switch a

I have a 2014 diesel octavia estate 1.6 blk edition. Lately, and since service my mpg is alot lower than normal. I understand my car is old but recently ive noticed im using more fuel. Ive asked my usual mechanic and hes replied with the expected answer i thought hed suggest which is weather, tyres, speed, fuel prices and that mpg is never ro be trusted. Im not taking fuel prices into consideration as im seeing my fuel being used up more. Mpg today has been 34,on a route i normally use and get

Hi all, finally got around to getting some new shoes ordered for the girl. I'm getting a set of Hankook Ventus Evo K137 235/45 ZR18 98Y XL put onto the Pegasus alloys. I was considering changing out the locking wheel nut for just a regular nut? Which then prompted the second question, I picked up a set of Alcar 9021 17inch Steelies for Winter Tyres, do I need to run seperate nuts due to the alloy v steel nature? I was looking on autodoc to try and order some nuts as I didn't know how often they
