Pirelli cinturato P7 19" tyres (from Superb mk3 280ps Sportline)

Featured Replies

EDIT: Rims sold, just the tyres remaining. See later posts.

Original advert:

For sale:

Wheels part number 3v0601025ap

With Tyres mounted Pirelli cinturato p7

Superb mk3 280ps Sportline factory original.

Due to unfortunate events (previous car theft after fitting winter wheels), I actually have a choice of 2 complete sets.

Choice:

Older set (66 plate): 6k miles, aprx 7.5mm tred remaining. Very minor scruffs. Offers over £900.

Newer (17 plate, but more milage) set: 20k miles, 5mm tred. 2 rims have noticable curb scratches around 5cm length. Offers over £700.

Both are otherwise in great condition, no damage to tyres and wheels run perfectly true.

Postage at cost aprx £50 with Paisley, or free collection in S London, Beds or Herts

Any questions let me know.

Nice wheels, I think you need a different tyre depth gauge, new tyres come with 8mm of tread...

Doesn't look like the black pointer triangle will be at zero when the yellow slider is fully retracted.

Yikes! Thanks for pointing this out.

Yes, the tyre gauge has a weird zero offset I seems to have completely misused it.  I double checked against the last service (1 month ago) and need to take 3mm off what I've wriiten.

So the lower mileage set are about 7.5mm and the newer but higher mileage set are about 5mm.

I'll update the original post to clarify.

You'll need to drop the price now by at least £600 due to mis information on tyre depth.   Less my discount so I'll make an offer.  £50 delivered.

Nice try!  i am open to offers as I'm under pressure to free up some space.... but not ready to go quite that low yet!

(I deleted the tred pictures too as they're just misleading)

I’m new to the forum guys and also to the world of Skoda.

My dealer gave me part number 3V0071499GHA7 for the Vegas as I’m interested in a set and then saw these.

Will these fit my superb mk3 2018 SEL?

And what’s the difference between the part number referenced in the advert above vs the one the dealer gave me?

thank you

Great question about the part numbers. Visually the part you quote looks just like these Vega wheels in the brochure I found, however I double checked and these  definitely have 3V0601025AP stamped on them - see photo.

To check compatibility, get the Serienbereifung file from http://www.skoda-auto.de/service/serienbereifung and look up your car model. Superb MkIII starts on page 291. And make sure it has an entry for these sizes next to it:

Tyre: 235/40 R19

Wheel: 8J x 19 H2 ET44

From skimming that file it looks like all the models that take 18" wheels will also take 19" if that's any help.  This thread suggests it should work on SE L .

Looking around these go for over £1600 for a set of 4 new, so these is a good chance to grab a bargain!

Thank you for the reply. Much appreciated.

These still for sale?

  • Author

Yes, they are. (I was meaning to bump the thread)

The tyres are now separated from the wheels - which were you interested in?

The best set of alloy rims are now claimed, so just the tyres (now unmounted) remaining:

Pirelli cinturato p7

235/40 R19

Undamaged, in perfect order when removed from the car. Photos on request

Aprx 6.5mm tred.

£300 ono + packing & shipping  fees

(I do still have another complete set, with the scuffed wheels and higher milage tyres, which I'm keeping as my summer spares, but open to offers over £550)

If anyone else is interested in 2 or 3 of these then I maybe interested in the other 1 (or 2 if needs be)
