Satnav Update SD Card Format

Featured Replies

I am about to update the satnav  (Columbus) and am not clear as to whether the SD card needs to be formatted in FAT32, NTFS or doesn't it matter? Can anyone advise me please?

If Windows 10, use Fat32 and default File allocation table

I did mine this morning like that and it went just fine

If you are a Mac user its still formatted in FAT 32.

I thought I would do the update using a USB Flash memory stick rather than a SD Card and it worked fine.  I may have missed it in the book but it does not say you can do it this way.

I used an SD car in a USB adaptor when I did mine

Took about 30 minutes to update
